Mary Jo Gabel has developed and sucessfully taught serger sewing classes for the past twenty-one years. In her hands on classes she has worked with all makes and models of sergers. She has put together a series of serger instructional dvds to share her knowledge with home sewers everywhere. Her step-by-step instructions can be followed by the novice sewer and/or the accomplished seamstress. The great close ups in all of her dvds make for private lessons in your own home!
Mary Jo's knowledge of the serger and her gift to teach makes this series of serger instructional dvds a must have for those who wish to get the most from their home sergers. She holds a B.S. Degress in Home Economics from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo. For the past thirty years, she has taught all aspects and levels of sewing: community college, adult education, College for Kids and 4-H programs. At present she teaches at Allan Hancock College in Santa Maria and for the Lucia Mar Adult Education program in Arroyo Grande, California as well as teaches at sewing shows and for sewing groups.
Most recently Mary Jo has produced a sewing dvd on "Zippers". This dvd is sure to make you a success with putting in zippers with all applications.
